The Wings over Wayne airshow in 2017 included many of the best military and stunt planes. Some aircraft there included the F-15, a Falcon, an A-10 and an F-18, also known as a Hornet, as well as many more planes, (not only were there planes, but jet trucks.) They flew the Hornet at 0.9 mach, 1/10 away from the speed of sound. This however, is sort of slow for the Hornet/F-18. The Hornet can go 3 or 4 mach, or 3 or 4 times the speed of sound. They didn"t fly any planes above the speed of sound because everyone would go deaf.They also flew the famous Blue Angels, in a formation. They did flips and turns in the diamond formation the Blue Angels were in. At the Wings over Wayne airshow, they simulated the attack on Pearl Harbor with small explosives. (Just to point out, I think it is sort of weird that they would show others annihilating us instead of us annihilating others at an airshow celebrating the United States of America).
